flyer design - heavenly noise

The Firefly website has had some major renovations.
Now with far more character than ever before!! the old site (which will soon be retired) took more of a business approach, with that Web Shop feeling. I wanted to make it more personable, more inviting, more animated, more creative…
There’s still much to be done (as always) but I’d like to be the first to welcome you to the new & improved Firefly Multimedia, Inc.

The Fireflies have been busy! We just busted out the 7th annual Chaos Festival website - Waking Chaos. We’re not quite finished with it yet, still hoping to drop in a little flash, photo galleries, etc.

at what point do we really hear and where does mistranslation occur?

My husband and I took a daytrip to Hugenot beach yesterday for Valentine’s Day - a perfectly lovely day - and saw the most amazing thing! There were MILLIONS of jellyfish, washed up on the shore! Literally, MILLIONS of them. I’d never seen anything like it and the picture above doesn’t even come close to capturing the intensity. As far as the eye could see… beached jellyfish.
I just so happen to know a Jellyfish Guru and she said they’re Cannonball Jellies and it may have been caused by an offshore storm because they’re not able to swim against the current, or possibly the rising ocean temperatures. However, usually when these things happen, they wash away as quickly as they arrive, so it really was perfect timing on our part to see such a thing.
Strange, huh?

I suppose I was feeling super colorful this evening! Here’s a flyer for the upcoming Smile Rays show at Shantytown Pub, Downtown, Jax. We also have a show coming up March 10th… guess I better get busy!
