Tabby Bear

A long time client of mine, and mother of three, has decided to start a side business, inspired by the growing number of recent toy recalls.

Tabby Bear - stuffed bear website design

Tabby Bears. They’re cute, they’re cuddly, and they’re 100% safe, machine washable, no small parts, all natural, hand-made and hypo-allergenic. I just started playing around with some ideas for her design and I’m trying to use one of my old illustrations as the “setting” - the Keebler tree, bubbly sun, dancing butterflies… and now… bears. :)

Coming soon… it’s in the works.

more flowers!

so then… after falling in love with the falling flowers, she asked if she could have that as her screensaver. I’d never made a screensaver before, so immediately, my curiosity was piqued. After a little research, and using yet another “falling snow” script as a template, I whipped up a falling flower screensaver to match her site.

You can download it here… I only made it to fit her 1024×768 screen size, so love it or leave it. ;) Perhaps, one day, I’ll find time to make some Phonobot screensavers!

Note: It only works on PC for now…

flowers, flowers, everywhere!!!

Jaya Kula

What a fun and relaxing project! A client, who has become a wonderful friend over the past several months, asked me to design a splash page for her tantra/ayurveda/chai studio in Portland, OR. I’ve heard her make reference to giving offerings to “Ma” - her guru - often in the form of flowers. Immediately, I thought how cool it would be to have animated flowers falling over the page. After much tinkering with the script to make the flow more natural and random, I finally got the effect… it’s so pretty! Check it out…
