fishtronaut

Sometimes, I get the weirdest requests for graphics. We’re playing at the Dumpster Dive in Atlanta Saturday afternoon and my husband’s printing up some beat CDs to hand out. Work it, baby!
Work it!

He specifically asked for a 1/2 fish, 1/2 astronaut character. Oddly enough, it came out a lot cooler than I thought it would. I threw the old Japanese woodblock wave illustration behind it and the silver shines through the design so it looks kinda spacey, classy, wavey, bluish/silverish - weird, but nice.

Yes… I’m married to a space fish.

new project

who DOESN’T love massage?
I mean, really?

I even find relaxation in working on the website, with the calming color palette (not too girly, because it’s NOT a spa, but rather, therapeutic massage) and the swirling natural images, reminicent of ancient wisdom and alternative healing.
